Holiday Gift Guide for Moms

‘Tis the season for gifting, and if you’ve got a special Mom on your list, we got you! Sticking with the theme of our 3 guiding principles, we’re going to bring you gift ideas from 3 categories: Movement, Mindset, & Nutrition. Give the gift of health this year!

Movement

Okay, you know we have to shamelessly plug our fitness programs, which in our opinion are the gifts that keep on giving! The mom in your life will have lifetime access if pregnant or postpartum or can hop in to our Forever MomStrong programming which has new workouts to keep her feeling strong each week, so let’s do it:

Pregnant or Postpartum? She’ll love our Pregnancy Fitness Program or our best selling 6 Phase Postpartum Return to Exercise Program!

Further along postpartum and looking for an awesome strength program to follow? She’ll love our effective and efficient MomStrong Program!

Is the special someone in your life pregnant and could use some self care? We designed a pregnancy mobility program with pliability and 6x CrossFit Games Champ Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr that will help ease those aches and pains and prepare her for birth.

A lot of local yoga studios will allow you to buy gift cards or class passes to try a few classes. This is a great way for the mom in your life to get some “me time” and unwind. 

Does the lady in your life like to workout at home? Help her build out her home gym with some new equipment!

Dumbbells are a versatile way to get a good workout in and can be an easy swap even for movements that call for a barbell. If she doesn’t have any, you could opt for adjustable dumbbells or choose a weight you think she could use for a lot of movements. If she already has some, choose a heavier weight she can work up to 💪

If she’s set on dumbbells, kettlebells are the next great addition to a home gym.

For a busy mom, bands are such a good way to add resistance, and are travel friendly too. We use both the long resistance bands and the smaller mini bands (booty bands) in our MomStrong programs.

If she is looking to build more strength, a solid investment is a barbell and some plates. A good starting point in a barbell and 10lb plates. She can build her plate collection over time 🙂

For the mom who is always taking care of everyone else, getting her something that will help her take care of herself is always a great idea!

There’s nothing better than an hour to yourself in a relaxing massage as a mom! If she has a favorite place, a gift card is a great idea. 

A journal is a great way for Moms to decompress, and get the million ideas going on in their head, out of their head :). It can also be a great way to identify how they are feeling so they can better communicate that to others.

This could be something like a gift card to a nail salon, her favorite lotion or bath salts, or a date night that you’ve planned ahead. 

Nutrition

Is the mom in your life looking to dial in her nutrition or simply could use a few things to make cooking for the kids a little easier? We got you.

Managing meals for a family is a lot of work! A meal prep calendar is an awesome way to visualize what she wants to make each week, and what you all might need to grab at the store for prep.

The invention of the air fryer left me throwing out nearly all my other small appliances. It’s quick, easy, and makes food taste great! It’s great for the health-conscious mama who wants to save time prepping meals. Here’s one we like: Ninja Air Fryer
